Sometimes ideas seem to just drop into your mind from seemingly nowhere. Perhaps you can’t identify the source, but that doesn’t mean that there is no source. Here is an example. One day I purchased some fresh organic oregano at a local farmer’s market. It needed to dry out before I put it into a jar. So, l left the small rubber banned bundle of oregano on the kitchen table to dry. I left the kitchen and was about ready to leave the house. As my hand reached for the doorknob when something stopped me. Something wasn’t right. Ok I thought. What did I just do? My mind reviewed my recent activities. “That is it!” I said to myself with the excitement of a young child who has just opened a gift and discovered something delightful. It was the oregano. What? Just as quickly a thought came to me. It is bad for cats? Really. I don’t remember knowing this. Never mind. I picked up my iphone and googled oregano toxic for cats. Sure enough, there was something about toxicity, cats, and oregano. I was right but how did I know? It didn’t matter how or who. I marched back into the kitchen and put the oregano into a cupboard.
