Mind if I Ask You A Question?

Here is a tip.  If you have a hunch and want to check it out.  Assuming that you can safely do so without being rude or imposing.  This is one way to practice building the intuitive muscle. 

Let’s say you find yourself thinking about someone you know well, and your thoughts keep going back to the person over and over. Perhaps you have a sense that the person needs to talk about something, is in trouble, is lonely, wants an opinion, etc.  Make contact by phone, text, email, etc., and mention that you were thinking about him/her.  Pay attention to the response.  Play detective and notice if any of your ideas are acknowledge.  If you want to be a little bold ask “Can I ask you a question?”  Proceed with your question.
