It had all the normal ingredients that I normally use, including, chicken bones and meat, garlic, onion, salt, pepper, bay leaf, sage, and oregano and plenty of water. Opps I forgot to mention the parsley that was tossed into the pan just before placing the lid on it.
Although all the ingredients were what I normally put into the chicken soup, my heart wasn’t into making it. There wasn’t much time that evening when I decided that the soup needed to happen so that the chicken bones that had been frozen for more than a month needed to be used. Maybe the soup had an intelligence and sensed that it was not created out of love or kindness and reciprocated . The soup tasted just ok, nothing special, nothing great.
